Salcette TaluK (Salcette region) is located in the northern part of South Goa and occupies the territory of about 20 miles of straight up continuous beach strip of the Arabian Sea coastline, starting from Utorda Beach resort and finishing in Betul Beach at the mouth of Sal River in the south.
