There are many beach shacks and water sports at Candolim.

All around, you will find plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, and nightclubs. You will also find many operators renting out their cars and bikes. Take the Aguada-Siolom Road to visit Calangute, Baga, or Anjuna, Vagator, further up. Panaji, the capital of Goa, is also not very far away. The Aguada Fort is also 10-15 minutes by car.
