On hydroplanes to Goa
Goa prepares an exclusive tourist attraction. By Christmas 2012 to the guests will be available the hydroplanes, as was reported in the Goan Tourism Department.
The 9-place machines will serve to the tourist destinations of the state, they plan to carry passengers from Dabolim airport to various destinations.
Thus, Goa is the first state which will provide a similar service.
In the Andaman and Nicobar islands there are also the hydroplanes, but they are not used for tourism purposes, according to the chairman of Goan Tourism Development Service (GTDC) Nilesh Cabral. He adds that it will be a real adventure in the style of “joy-ride” because the rates will be able to afford not only the wealthy tourists and vacationers but also the middle segment.
Service of hydroplanes will be transferred into private hands and the logistics and details of the project are developed by the state government.
