In its annual “Traveller's Choice® ​​2013” rating list Goa is steadily leading among other famous holiday destinations being in advance of New Delhi (the capital of India) and such major centers traditionally popular among tourists as Udaipur - known as the "Eastern Venice", Jaipur - "The Pink City", Bangalore - "The Silicon Valley of India", Agra - the city of one of the wonders of world’s architecture, the Taj Mahal - the monument of eternal love, Mumbai and Calcutta.

The users of the portal unanimously note that the most attractive thing in Goa is its magnificent beaches. "The most difficult thing to do while visiting Goa is to decide which beach to choose for amazing beach holiday spending" - summarizes the rating list compilers. However, tourists from all corners of the world give their preference to the leading triple of Goa beach resorts: Agonda, Cavelossim and Mandrem. Behind them in the list follow such famous beaches as Varca, Benaulim, Palolem and Morjim. As usually, tourists enthusiastically describe the spacious areas and the high quality of Goa beaches sand, warm tender sea waters and breathtakingly beautiful surroundings, calmness and quietness, reasonable prices, cleanliness and high quality of services.

The most attractive historic sites of Goa, according to the list, are: the Bom Hessus Basilica and Old Goa in whole, the Fontinhas Latin Quarter in the capital of Goa – the city of Panaji, the Tomb of St. Francis Xavier and the Se Cathedral in Old Goa, and, of course, the amazing Shri Mahalasa Temple in Ponda.

Among the objects of military and historical heritage of Goa tourists allocate the Fort Aguada Chapora Fort and the Reis-Magos Fort.
