Location: India, State of Goa, South Goa district, Canacona Taluk (Canacona region), Agonda village. Agonda Beach is located in the Arabian Sea bay between Cola/Khola Beach 7 km north and Palolem Beach 12 km south. The distance between Agonda and: Dabolim Airport – 60 km; Panaji/Pangim City (the capital of Goa) – 75 km; Margao City – 40 km.

Beach features: the coastline is about 2 km long, wide beach strip. The sand is pure, coarse and smooth, has amazing golden color. The seashore is clean and pure. Palm vegetation. The water is warm and shallow; the bottom of the sea has no rocks, but there are strong underwater currents. Those who can’t swim well or have just started to swim the swimming here is not recommended. There are Baywatch and Rescue Service on the Beach.

Infrastructure: Parallel to the coast runs Agonda beach road, alongside which there is a large part of places to stay in, few shops and cafes. In the center of the village you can find a Church and local High School (College). Another road leads up from the Church across the river and the village to NH17 Highway. There are few very nice and cute shacks on the Beach. Here you will have a chance to try various food and tasty dishes and drinks. On the beach you will be able to take lounge chairs and umbrellas.
